Saints row iii keeps crashing my entire computer each time i try to play it on both directx9 and directx10/11. There are a lot of complaints about it on the steam forums (sr3 and sr4).

I wanted to replay saints row the third for pc so i bought it on steam (not enhanced edition, which i also have on epic). I'm 20 minutes in and i'm not even past the intro scene and to the character creation screen yet because it keeps freezing, sometimes with audio, sometimes without.
